I am a postpartum doula, meaning I only provide support after the baby(ies) is/are born. I also only provide daytime support, between the hours of 6 am and 12am (midnight). You can get in touch with me before your birth or after.
Typically, clients will hire a doula for a set number of hours over a certain amount of days or weeks. We will set these days and hours together, and then I will have you sign a contract committing to hiring me for those shifts. During the interview, you can ask me any question you’d like about my experience and the services I provide. I will also ask you some questions about what you are looking for in a postpartum doula.
With my sliding scale fee structure, I aim to make doula services more accessible to all, regardless of income, no questions asked. Please take a look at the graphic below titled ‘The Green Bottle’ and ask yourself where you may fall on my sliding scale.* By choosing to pay on the higher end, you are making it possible for clients with lower income to access my services.
“When I pay more, I know that I am helping others to access the event. When I pay in the middle, I know I am helping the organizers cover costs. And when I pay at the bottom, I know I am letting my community hold me and support me. All of these are wonderful and acceptable ways of participating.” - Pronoia Coaching
*If these fees are still inaccessible to you, please still reach out! We can have a conversation about your needs and look at options such as payment plans, trades, or we can get creative in other ways. I believe all people deserve doula services and I strive to make this a reality.
If you would like to meet with me before the birth of your baby(ies) to set up a postpartum plan (meal trains, mental health care, grocery shopping, meal prep, child care for older children, or other needs).
I charge $20 per hour for this service virtually, and $25 per hour in-person.
in-person support (post-birth):
During an in-person visit, I will come to your home. At the beginning of each visit, I will check in with you and your partner(s) or other members of your support team about your current needs, and the day can always change as we go along.
For in-person doula visits, I charge $25, 35, or 50 per hour, with a 4-hour minimum.
virtual support (post-birth):
The purpose of a virtual visit is to check in about how your and your partner(s) or other members of your support team are doing. We’ll talk about you and your baby’s mental health, physical health, feeding, and sleeping, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
For virtual doula check-ins, I charge $20, 25, or 30/hour, with a 1-hour minimum.
